Mr. and Miss Junior Buck
On Friday, January 18, 2011, Deerfield Beach Middle School embarked on their first annual Mr. and Miss Junior Buck program. Keietta Givens, Intern Principal planned and coordinated this program for the school under the leadership of her Principal, Christine Flynn. This was a fun-filled and elegant event that included 18 student participants, who were all competing for the title in each grade level. The purpose of this program was to promote school spirit and increase self-esteem amongst all the participants. Deerfield Beach students, staff and parents who attended were amazed at the formal attire and ballroom style dancing. It was exciting for the entire school and truly made a impact on the students at Deerfield Beach Middle.
